Simulation Operations

SIM-OPS is a large-scale VR training simulator for the Dutch Police. The system combines AI-driven crowd simulation with photogrammetric environments, enabling officers to practice realistic scenarios such as demonstrations, riots and hostage situations. By cleverly integrating existing software where possible and adding proprietary innovation, SIM-OPS offers instructors the ability to independently create scenarios without technical expertise. The consortium is investigating the feasibility of this approach, whereby the costs, complexity and duration of traditional training are drastically reduced whilst training effectiveness increases.
